Two Shot, Dropped at Saint Mary – One’s a Kid!

Chicago’s streets saw more violence as three gunshot victims were dropped off at local hospitals, keeping police and medical teams busy. At Saint Mary Hospital, two unidentified men—listed as John Does—arrived by private car with bullet wounds. Sources say one looks like a juvenile, maybe a teenager, and the other is an adult.

Details are thin right now, but both were in bad shape and are being moved to Stroger Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, for more serious care.

Not long after, another drop-off happened at Norwegian Hospital. This time, it was a single gunshot victim, also brought in by private car. No word yet on who they are or how they’re doing. Police are still piecing things together, and it’s unclear if these cases are connected.

Drop-off shootings like these—where victims are dumped at hospitals without much info—aren’t new to Chicago. They often leave cops chasing leads with little to go on. Saint Mary and Norwegian staff acted fast to stabilize the victims, but the transfers to Stroger show how serious at least two of these cases are.

We’re waiting on updates from the Chicago Police Department about ages, conditions, or where these shootings might’ve happened. For now, it’s another rough night in the city. Stay safe out there, Chicago—keep your eyes open and check back here for the latest.
