O’Block Rappers Munna Duke, Youngin Gunned Down in Edgewater Shooting
CHICAGO, IL – A brutal drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood killed O’Block drill rappers Munna Duke, 31, and Youngin, 28, and left a third man injured at 1:20 a.m. on May 10, 2025, in the 6300 block of North Broadway.
ChicagoCrimeChaser reports the attack targeted patrons leaving a restaurant with a late-night liquor license, with police recovering a stolen Infinity Q50, used by the gunman, burning in the 600 block of East 134th Place hours later. The suspect remains at large.
Munna Duke succumbed to a chest wound at Weiss Hospital, while Youngin, riddled with bullets, died at St. Francis Hospital despite CPR attempts.
A 36-year-old man, shot in the back, is stable at Evanston Hospital. Dozens of shell casings littered the scene, and sources link the violence to Tookaville-Smashville gang rivalries.
Social media mourns Munna Duke’s recent fatherhood and Youngin’s rising fame.
