Two Chicago drill rappers from O’Block were shot and killed in an early-morning drive-by attack in the Edgewater neighborhood on Saturday.

Rachaun “Munna Duke” Vance, 31, and Youngin, 28, were gunned down at approximately 1:20 a.m. outside a restaurant with a late-night liquor license in the 6300 block of North Broadway, according to Chicago Crime Chaser’s initial report.

A third man, 36, was shot in the back and transported to Evanston Hospital in stable condition.

Munna Duke was taken to Weiss Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a chest wound.

Youngin was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where medical staff performed CPR before he was pronounced dead.

Dozens of shell casings covered the scene when Chicago Police Department officers arrived.

Investigators recovered a stolen Infiniti Q50, believed to have been used by the shooter, burning in the 600 block of East 134th Place on the Far South Side hours later.

No suspect has been arrested and no official motive has been established.

Sources familiar with the case told Chicago Crime Chaser the violence is believed connected to ongoing Tookaville-Smashville gang rivalries.

Both victims were established names in Chicago’s O’Block drill rap scene, a community tied to the block at 6400 South King Drive made famous by the late King Von and Chief Keef.

Munna Duke had recently welcomed a child with FatFat Banks, who also has children with the late DThang, the brother of rapper Lil Durk.

Banks posted a tribute on Instagram following Duke’s death, writing that he was “the light to my darkness.”

Youngin, known as YoungginFrmDaJetz, was considered a torchbearer for O’Block’s sound and was known for his close bond with the late King Von.

Social media mourned both men heavily, with fans noting Munna Duke’s recent turn toward fatherhood and Youngin’s rising profile in the drill scene.

The attack added two names to Chicago’s 2025 homicide count, which Chicago Crime Chaser tracks daily using the Cook County Medical Examiner’s database.
