Mother and Son Shot in Chicago Dodge Dealership Shooting
A shooting erupted at the South Chicago Dodge dealership on Thursday night, leaving a mother and her son injured, authorities confirmed.
Chicago police responded to reports of gunfire at the dealership, located at 7340 S Western Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene with blood and approximately 15 shell casings scattered across the area.
A 20-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. His 50-year-old mother sustained a graze wound to her right tricep and was treated at the scene.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and no suspects are currently in custody. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to determine what led to the violence.
